MY STORY
My entrepreneurial journey began in Slovenia, at that time Yugoslavia, where I was born into a family renowned for their pioneering spirit in the beverage industry. Inspired by my parents, founders of VIPI in 1957, I ventured into business early, launching my first company while still a student. This spirit of innovation continued with Avtomati In Sirupi in 1976, a venture that introduced Slovenia to the convenience of vending machines.

In 1991, I established Nektar d.o.o., quickly becoming a key player in Slovenia’s competitive beverage market. My journey took a significant turn when I moved to the United States in 2004, where I founded E4B, a company that broke new ground in the healthy snack industry with its innovative fruit smoothie snacks. My success has been published in Forbes, the New York Times, and others.

A Harvard education not only refined my business skills but also deepened my commitment to fostering entrepreneurship. In 2008, I started LLK Business Consulting, through which I've worked tirelessly to strengthen US-Slovenian business connections, support startups and family businesses, and champion female entrepreneurship. My efforts have been recognized with numerous awards, including those from SPS and VTIS in 2023, highlighting my impact as a mentor.

Today, I balance my professional achievements with a fulfilling family life. As a mother and entrepreneur, I am passionate about mentoring the next generation, sharing the wisdom acquired from a lifetime of overcoming challenges, and celebrating successes. My story is one of relentless perseverance and dedication to not only achieving personal goals but also inspiring and lifting others on their paths to success.
